Arrest Made in Murder Investigation

A joint investigation with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, McMinnville Police and the District Attorney General’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a McMinnville man on a murder charge.
Agents with the TBI were called in late Friday night to investigate a shooting that claimed the life of 33 year old Darius Michael "Reese" Bishop. According to the TBI, Bishop was at his home on Lind Street with several other people when two masked men forced their way through the front door. Bishop confronted the men and was shot. He was pronounced dead at St. Thomas River Park Hospital.
Sunday, law enforcement officers arrested 43 year old Terrence Lamont Malone and charged him with felony murder and especially aggravated burglary. He was booked into the Warren County Jail, where his bond was set at $1.5 million. The investigation is ongoing. Authorities say more arrests are possible.
