During his Operations Report Monday night Director of Schools Grant Swallows talked about the 2022-2023 school calendar. The board approved in February the calendar for 2021-2022 with the first day of school being August 11. Swallows said that getting the following school year calendar will help with planning and for families wanting to plan vacations. There are three options on the table with 2 of them having registration on Monday August 8,2022 and the first day on Wednesday August 10. School will go back from Christmas break on January 3,2023. Another option has registration on Friday August 5, 2022 and the first day of school on August 9. School would return from Christmas break January 2,2023. Swallows said he would be feedback from the public and bring it before the board in the April meeting for approval.
