Details are still being finalized but it looks like the Warren Co. A&L Fair will take place in 2021. That’s according to President Regan Kelsey and Director of Entertainment Steven Helton. Helton said that all the details are close to being final and will have more to come in the next week. The 2020 edition of the fair was cancelled last July because they didn’t have the funds to meet the liability for the state guidelines and that, if they proceeded with the fair last September, any litigation claims would not be paid by the insurance company and made it impossible to comply with the current state guidelines to ensure a safe experience for attendees and to have the best fair possible. It was the first time it was cancelled since it started in 1954.
Helton said they are excited and working to put together a great fair for the county in 2021 and added that the safety of the citizens is a top priority. Helton also added that the fair will be following the CDC guidelines.
The dates for the fair this year are September 10-18.
