Haley: Local Executive Orders Expire Thursday

In accordance with Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s latest press release, County Executive Jimmy Haley said all current local and state emergency Executive Orders will expire at 12am this Thursday, including public face mask requirements and electronic meetings.
Haley said with the continued roll out of the former administration’s Warp Speed Initiative, everyone is encouraged to vaccinate as more doses become available. He added to respect the safety and welfare of others, and that residents follow the most recent health guidelines, including the wearing of face masks when deemed appropriate, social distancing and practicing personal hygiene.
With all local offices open, county facilities will continue to practice CDC and public health policies in order to protect employees and keep government services operational.
Haley wishes to thank the entire community for your support and perseverance while mitigating and containing the spread of the COVID-19 virus over the last year.
