The Tennessee Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating a hit and run driver.
According to Troopers Ben Cannon,Joe Van Bommel and Billy Prater around 11:40am Friday morning a six year old child was struck by a pickup on Highland Road off Bluff Springs Rd. The vehicle left the scene. The child was taken by private vehicle to River Park and was awaiting transportation to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. At last report the child was in critical condition.
Authorities are looking for a 1999-2002 white Chevy pickup extended cab with black wheels. The vehicle has some damage to the drivers side and missing some ground effects.
