The Warren Co. Pioneer Baseball team trailed 5-0 and could not rally as they were defeated by the Cookeville Cavaliers 5-2 Tuesday night at Patrick Ramsey Field. Cookeville led throughout the game. Pioneers scored 2 in the 6th but could never draw any closer.
Despite the loss the Pioneers are in the Region 3AAA semi-finals tournament. Monday night May 17 they travel to Cleveland to take on District 5AAA chmaps Bradley Central Bears. First pitch will be at 6pm central. You can listen on 92.1 The Ticket beginning at 5:55pm.
