The Warren Co. Sports Hall of Fame is coming back with one of its biggest class inductions ever that includes 12 individuals and the American Baseball Program that formed in 1983 and won 181 games in 4 years. It’ll be the first since 2018. The board hopes to make up for lost time, due to last year’s induction cancelled due to COVID
The Class of 2021 includes: Barbara Biles, who led Warren Co. to three straight state tournaments in 1972-74 and signed with Belmont.
Mike Chilcutt, longtime Pioneer Marching Band leader from 1971-1995.
David Dunlap, longtime Warren Co. Tennis coach leading teams to several district championships.
Curtis Lusk-led Warren Co. in rushing in 1974 and 1975.
Hatold Lusk- leader in rushing in the Pioneers inaugural season in 1969.
Jerry "Gooby" Martin- one of the top pitchers for Warren Co. in the late 80’s and Lady Pioneer softball coach leading them to district and region titles.
Keith Martin- his 1,992 yards is eighth all time in history.
Paige Northcutt- Longtime McMinnville Swim Team coach and medal winner in the ’88 Olympics.
George Oleksik- standout member of the 1992 state championship basball team.
Bill Rutledge- In 1989 led Warren Co. in receiving with 1,012 yards.
Russ Spivey- one of the top scorers in Warren Co. history and his retired 33 jersey hangs in the rafters at Charlie Dalton Gym.
and Jay Walker-the longtime Voice of the Pioneers, who has called more than 250 football games and has served as play-by-play man for parts of four decades.
A banquet will be held in their honor on August 26 at the Warren Co. Middle School. They will also be honored the following night on the 27th during halftime of the Warren Co.- White Co. football game.
