In a special called meeting Tuesday by the McMinnville Board of Mayor and Alderman an ordinance was passed on first reading to authorize the city to transfer 6.17 acres of land on Sunset Point Road to Homeless of McMinnville Effort, or HOME. Second and final reading will come next Tuesday night at the regular board meeting Aug. 10 at City Hall.
Also passed on second and final reading an ordinance declaring certain property and real estate in McMinnville as surplus property.
