The Southeast Regional Office of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) celebrates National Farmers Market Week August 1-7, to highlight the important role farmers markets play in food systems across the southeast region. Supporting local growers benefits the local economy, the grower and producer, as well as the consumer since produce travels a shorter distance to reach the buyer. Some markets allow SNAP and EBT benefits on certain days.
The Farmers Market in McMinnville located downtown by the water tower is open Wednesday and Saturdays from 7am-1pm thru October.
