At General Sessions Court Tuesday 28 year old Robert Thompson of Murfreesboro was bound over to the grand jury on one count of aggravated assault at a residence on Oriole Dr. in July.
Thompson was hanging out and partying with a female resident when an argument broke out between the two. Punches were thrown by both parties as it spilled into the parking lot. Thompson then brandished a weapon and fired shots but no one was injured. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was taken into custody by Rutherford Co. officers following a traffic stop in Murfreesboro..
