The Warren CO. Pioneers baseball team, after splitting with Rhea CO. and Cookeville, picked up a sweep against Stone Memorial, winning 7-0 and 5-2 Monday and Tuesday. Pioneers are now 4-2 in district play, tied with Cookeville at 4-2 and in a virtual time with Rhea Co. who finished district play 5-3. The Pioneers take on Dekalb Co. in Smithville Thursday and host Gallatin Friday. Then next Monday and Tuesday they conclude district play with a two-game series against the White Co. Warriors. The Pioneers could clinch a share of the district title with 2 wins or clinch outright with a Cookeville loss.
