According to the latest data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce. There have been 1,143,662 new claims since March of last year. For the week ending April 17, claims went up from the week before from 10,869 to 13,291, an increase of 2,422 from last week. Continued claims increased from 45,113 to 46,285, up 1,172 from last week. In Warren Co. there are 302 continued claims, up 10 from last week and 66 initial claims, down 28 from the previous week. White Co. has 150 continued claims, up 6 from last week and 46 initial claims, down 1. Van Buren has 22 continued claims and 6 initial claims.
