A three vehicle wreck in front of Three Star Mall Tuesday morning resulted in one transported.
According to Sergeant Brad Hall of the McMinnville Police Department a 1996 Nissan Truck, driven by 68 year old William Romans of McMinnville, and a 2006 Chevy Malibu, driven by 64 year old Sandra McBride of Mcminnville were sitting at the red light on Mall Drive. When the light turned green they ran into a 2004 GMC Envoy, driven by 38 year old Norman McBride of McMinnville who ran a stop light. Witnesses confirmed to Hall that the light was indeed red on the Sparta St. side.
Mrs. McBride was transported to St. Thomas River Park Hospital with minor injuries. Romans received minor injuries aslo but was not transported. Mr. McBride was not hurt. All three vehicles were towed from the scene.
Hall said Norman McBride was cited for no insurance and careless driving.
