One injured In Monday Morning Wreck

A passenger in a Ford UCHRA Van was transported to the ER Monday morning following a two vehicle accident.
According to Sergeant Brad Hall of the McMinnville Police Department around 11:15am Monday morning 62 year old Delis Potts of McMinnville was driving a Ford UCHRA van with one passenger, 70 year old Elizabeth Tedesco of McMinnville, westbound on the 70S bypass when he stopped at the train tracks. According to state law, commercial vehicles transporting passengers, including school buses, must top at train tracks. A vehicle behind him changed lanes to pass and an orange Chevy Avalanche, driven by 29 year old Dakota Tate, ran into the back of the van. Tate stated to Hall that he didn’t see the van stopped until it was too late.
Tedesco was transported by ambulance to River Park ER. Tate complained of soreness. Potts was not injured. Neither had to be transported.
No citations were issued.
